A Curious Contraption Animation Test
The Curious Contraption
Here’s my latest photo series, which is composed of a collection of photos of Helping Hands (which can be acquired off of Amazon for under $10). It was my late grandpa’s, and I have much more planned for it!
It’s DONE!!! …(almost)…
WOOHOO!!!! So I’m pretty stoked at this point. Why? Because all that’s left to do in the next 14 days is come up with a title, make the credits, throw in sound effects and record the music!!!! In the meantime, since I’m done with the actual FILM part, I thought I’d upload a few teaser images that [hopefully] won’t give away the plot. ๐
Flippin’ Out!
This is what a traditional animator does.
Over and over and over and over.
I just wanted give a feel of what it is to see your animated frames come to life when flipping/rolling them manually.
And I would not complain if someone found a way to give me a second left arm, so I could flip more than five pages at a time ๐
That’s all the preview you’re going to get for now on my film!! Hope you enjoy ๐

Food for All
This piece is 10″x60″. Drew it with NuPastel; ~8-9 hours or so. (Final for my Color and Design class!) This piece had to have rhythm, repetition and draw the eye through the piece as it progresses to the right.
