This is what a traditional animator does.
Over and over and over and over.
I just wanted give a feel of what it is to see your animated frames come to life when flipping/rolling them manually.
And I would not complain if someone found a way to give me a second left arm, so I could flip more than five pages at a time :P

Self Portrait Lo and behold! The completed self portrait.

spwip4 Hey look, I’ve got eyes now! I guess that means I can… see? Anyway, figuring out the shape of the face more; now I’ve got to finish that right eye (the one on the left… not to confuse you any more) and then all the skin and hair details. And then a cartoony surprise for the background, I’m thinking… maybe :D (meep!)

spwip3 Here’s 3 hours difference from the last rendition. Woohoo! Nose and mouth are about done, now the face needs reshaping and color adjusting, then off to the eyes, forehead, and hair! :D

selfportraitwip2 Yikes! What a scary-lookin’ self portrait (as of now). Just kinda slopped on the main basic colors and started pushing them around from there, then started paying great attention to detail of the nose. Proportions are still way wacky, and as I add detail it’ll start coming into better shape. Also, the background won’t be that green; I just picked up some pthalo green and maganese blue (which will probably soon be my favorite tube o’ paint)– I plan on incorporating those into the bg.
