‘Can We Be Happy Now’ is going to some screenings, and I’ll be going with it! First off, enjoy a photo of my mom and myself all dressed up for the Annies!
The Annies were an ABSOLUTE BLAST (as you can tell in the photo!) I got to meet other student filmmakers and spun Oscar Grillo’s Annie. The show was plenty entertaining and it was such an honor to attend! I even stood in line next to Brenda Chapman on the red carpet. I’ll definitely be getting a ticket to go to next year’s show!
The Visions Film Festival & Conference of Wilmington, North Carolina will be on the 5th. I’m honored that I’ll be able to attend and do Q&A, along with participating in their 1-hour-1-take video race! The folks there are enthusiastic and it sounds like it’s a big film party every year.
Can We Be Happy Now is going to screen at the Samuel H. Goldwyn Theatre for the 2012 Producers’ Show! This is all happening at 8 pm on the 9th– just got the sound mixed and tidied up some animation and color… I’m really excited to see it on the big screen! See you there!!!
What’s this? A man flying in a poncho?! He looks just about as confused about the situation as you probably are: “Why on earth is she painting every frame?” Well, because she can. Especially when she refers to herself in third person, hehe.
Oh hey, it’s APRIL! That means it’s time foooor some SCREENSHOTS!!! Yay 4th year film!!!
Got the whole thing animated in rough, working in TVPaint. The huge task for the next 22 days is painting all the frames and compositing all the everything together! Good luck to all my animator friends, let’s conquer our films!
