Zombabe

We’ve acquired X-ray vision in our anatomy class. Yay for turning the model into a zombie!
Lawrence

I watched Lawrence of Arabia the other night. This was a super-quick, super-intuitive drawing, but I liked the result of Lawrence and the camel (even if I ran out of paper)!
And no, riders in LoA didn’t use reigns on their camels, that was pure artistic license. Besides, it runs off the page. Maybe it’s got a horse head?!
Head lighting exercises

I hear that some mathematicians looooove to solve math problems in their free time– for entertainment, like playing video games.
X = mathematician fun
Y = these drawing exercises
I = me
Y + I = X
New iDrawingpad
The last one was a Mac-Book. This one’s an iDrawingpad.

“Apps” include Character Designs, Portraits, Insanity, Ideas, Sleeplessness, Thumbnails, Design, Life Drawing, etc…
The whole point of this is that fancy new things can still be done with old technology… pens and papers!

…And that’s one of the first drawings 🙂
Life Drawing :: 7-19-10

Same pose, different interpretations.
Kinda bizarre going to do life drawing back at Palomar… it’s been two years since I’ve really been on campus. This model had, during the semester I submitted to CalArts, taken off for Spain. Turns out he’s back to stay in America. I was kinda glad because he’s one of my local favorites.
