On March 15th, 2008 I received an acceptance letter from CalArts, granting me admission to their Character Animation department!! I am currently studying Illustration and do freelance artwork and webdesign. If you have any questions, feel free to email me!

"182" was the result of collaborative efforts between Trevor, Yegee and me for our Story class, for which we had do pitch an idea for a feature film. "182" would be a film about robots of the future completely overtaking society and turning the tables on humans by making them do all the work for the robots/computers (instead of how we have them doing our work for us today). Human society in this hypothetical future had been dwindled down back to tribal living. Robots would go slave-scouting (aka, human-scouting) in un-robotized areas, trying to find more work to expand the robotic empire with worthless machines. (The first generation of these over-intelligent robots enslaved all the humans they met). Anyway, our group did some artwork to help pitch the idea. Following are some drawings I did.
Alex is the name of the main character. Here he's seen in his 'tribal' outfit before curiously following a scout robot and following it back into the Central City, where he would be enslaved, tested, and given the label "182" (a number by which the robots classified his intelligence and skills).
We also observe that he's been labeled with a barcode across his forehead (that's how the robots identify him, and it's also his method of checking in to work every day).
#276 knows no other name than that which the robots gave him. He's one of Alex's co-workers.
This is the Central City, which expands radially outward as the robots built onto it.
The robots leeched off of humans' energy, which was then sent to the Core Operations Center and distributed out evenly throughout the entire city to power the 'bots and computers. When Alex is abducted into this strange robot society, he (unlike many others that were brought in) finds it's necessary to go along with the orders given by the machines around him and blends into their culture. Never knowing of such a society before in his tribal land, he realizes that he must find a way to abolish this robot society and set the humans free.
