Today CalArts sent me an email saying that they’ve received all my application materials. (Oh how I wish the image above, “Gravity”, could have been included– I made it 2 weeks after submitting my portfolio!) Anyway, let’s keep our fingers crossed for my acceptance! 😀

Yay Sketchbook!
So ever since I sent off my last sketchbook to CalArts, it’s time to break-in a new sketchbook.
I’ve had it since I’ve sent off the portfolio, but never got a chance to draw in it because my focus went from portfolio to academics.
So tonight’s doodles if of a Ghandi-esque guy doing the signs of “peace” and “live long and prosper” to an alien, who’s doing the signs for “love” and “rock on”.

Hello, World!
So I’ve finally decided to go out and get myself a WordPress blog.
If you’re looking at this, obviously you found it!
Thought it would be fun to have a blog on my personal site, so this is the beginnings of it.
I’ll post random musings and mildly important life-related events here; but don’t expect it to get too personal!
So… on that note, Fall ’07 semester just ended on Wednesday, and I’m on Winter break until the 22nd.
Let’s send some good karma to CalArts for when they review my portfolio, which should have either already happened or be happening very soon! 😀
