Back in 2001, I had experience with web design from Tahnee.com and decided that since I also had quite an interest in Macromedia Flash, I’d make a site purely for my art and try to feature as much of it as possible in Flash.
So then along came Tahnee.org.
It was a huge project to get everything set up in Flash, and Flash requires a lot of work to update. So I decided that I would only feature certain Flash projects in an HTML-based website layout, which is what you’re looking at right now.
Working with Flash was, I discovered, very fun but also extremely time-consuming to work with and import allll the little images and make individual buttons for allllll the little links and make separate frames for allll the little pictures, and… It was way too much work than I watned, and a simplistic HTML site did the job much more eficiently anyway.
Then my interests arose in Web Standards and I delved into the wonderful world of CSS. I then decided to ditch the old layout and go with something fresh, new and bright and completely standards-compliant with clean code, and well… After all that rambling, if you’re even still reading, that’s the story of Tahnee.org. Now get away from this page and go look at the art– after all, it is the point of this website! ![]()
