So ever since I sent off my last sketchbook to CalArts, it’s time to break-in a new sketchbook.
I’ve had it since I’ve sent off the portfolio, but never got a chance to draw in it because my focus went from portfolio to academics.
So tonight’s doodles if of a Ghandi-esque guy doing the signs of “peace” and “live long and prosper” to an alien, who’s doing the signs for “love” and “rock on”.
Prismacolor. ~3.5 hours.
Just trying out the comments again.
Wow, Ghandi look-alike had one helluva nosejob. Good for him though, if the aliens back down from their peaceful stance, it might be his only weapon. Love the alien, great expression and pose. And GLL reminds me of the creatures from Alice in Wonderland – the ones with the big glasses, long beaks and no bodies (couldn’t find a picture on the web)
Hmmm actually I’m almost reminded of those singing dragonflowers or whatever, with the big mouths, and then all the trumpet flowers and stuff too. Glad you like– I like how Ghandi’s doing “Live long and prosper” to an alien and the alien is telling an elderly personage of high respect (and no teeth) to rock on. hehehe 😀
