Welcome to Eartheart, where the heart of Earth's events are preserved.

About

Well, once upon a time, several years ago, I had a dream. Sometimes, I have really vivid dreams that inspire me to create something. Others have such good storylines that I need to write them down before I forget them, if I ever forget them. Eartheart is based off of a dream that I had, (like I already said). I was at a king's castle, and a supposed friend camoflauged me to look like a servant or a chef, and I was to go about my duties as if I were one. It was a slick disguise that would slip me by the king, so he would not recognize me and I could, in a way, get into the "employees only" part of his castle, which I suppose was my goal.

I had started writing this story, giving it many twists and many characters. I believe I started writing it about the time that I had the dream, and I implemented magic and time-travel into the storyline, and I always considered it my secret masterpiece, secret because I never told anyone about it and had written many chapters without anyone's knowledge, but in 2004 I was inspired to make a webcomic out of it.

At first, Eartheart was not destined to be a webcomic. I was originally writing the story so I could, in my future, make it into a book. I decided (now in my highschool years) to re-write the story, because I have gained more writing experience and believed I could truly turn it into a great novel. The problem was, I seemed to not see any problems with the original, and when I did start re-writing it, it was faarrrrrrr tooooooo booooriiinngg and serious. I did not originally want it to be humorous, but rather just get the whole idea across and entertain people.

Turns out, I was getting driven home one night from piano lessons when I thought, "I seriously need to think of a better intro than what I had come up with in my early middleschool years." So, I decided to put the characters into a humorous highschool environment, with everything supremely happy at the start, but that would soon take a serious drift and make it serious for a bit, but once one rather large event happens, it will become quite hilarious again.

Even though I was probably dreaming when I first thought I would make it into a novel (hey, it was based off a dream, after all!), I still am convinced that the ideas implemented are fresh and will entertain many, and so... I plan on making many pages (the average comic book is 200), and will see how it works out, and I plan on making professional prints of it. It might take forever and a day to actually create the whole comic, (so much of it that I"m re-doing, because my original ideas were... not splendid), and so I will be making it up as I go along somewhat, but I do plan on making it a highly satisfying comic to all!
